How to upgrade to Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X, version 7, from version 4.x.

What to do

NOTE: This product is designed to run on Mac OS X version 10.4 and above. Before you start, check the system requirements.

• Upgrading standalone Mac computers:
  • From the Downloads page on the Sophos website, download Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X, version 7, and install this on your computer.
• Upgrading Mac computers that are managed by Enterprise Console, ensure that you do the following. For details of how to do this refer to the Network Startup Guide:
  • In EM Library, subscribe to the new Sophos Anti-Virus for Mac OS X, version 7 package
  • Create a new CID for this package
  • Change the policy to point to this new CID.
